FOR WIRE ROPE Instructions for use

When chain fittings with a safety factor of 4 : 1 are used in combination with steel wire rope the WLL
must be reduced by 20 %. This is the difference between a design factor of 4 : 1 (for chain slings) and
5 : 1 (for steel wire rope slings).
